The IDEA Mississauga team participated in this year’s DiscoveryX, a leading tech and innovation conference that brings together over 3,000 entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, government and industry leaders, hosted by the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI). During the conference, we showcased five Mississauga-based companies — Digy4, Deaf AI, Ace Inc, MangoVisa, and Actuality Live that unveiled their groundbreaking innovations, captivating attendees and industry experts alike. Notably, Deaf AI shared insights at the Accessibility Panel, while MangoVisa and Digy4 earned recognition as one of DiscoveryX’s Top 100 Most Innovative Companies.

The conference was also a great opportunity to build awareness of Mississauga’s commitment to supporting our skilled and talented entrepreneurs and scale-up businesses who contribute to the strength and diversity of our business ecosystem. Other Mississauga organizations in attendance included the University of Toronto Mississauga, Sheridan College, and Myant.
