EmpowHER Tech Launchpad
EmpowHER Tech Launchpad is a transformative 6-week program designed to support newcomer women in tech and women-led businesses that have a new product or technology ready to launch. This program aims to accelerate growth, foster innovation, and empower participants to scale their ventures effectively.
In partnership and collaboration with YSpace, we are launching our pilot program in November 2024 to empower women-led tech businesses.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Program Schedule: November 5, 2024 – December 12, 2024 (6 weeks)
Program Format: Conducted in-person @ IDEA Square One (100 City Centre Drive Mississauga, ON L5B 2C9)
Sector: Agnostic Tech businesses
Stage: Product Launched, ready to Scale
Applications Open between September 3, 2024 until September 30, 2024
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
In order to be eligible for this program, you must meet all the following requirements:
- 51% women led business
- Newcomer women founder – less than 10 years in Canada
- Post Product Launch stage
- Registered Canadian Incorporation (Provincial / Federal)
- Require 1 Co-Founder to attend all programming in-person
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the program
- A Canadian incorporation
PROGRAM BENEFITS
During the six-week program, female founders will benefit from:
- Up to $60,000 in business resources to help scale their ventures
- Pitch coaching and investor readiness support
- Expert-led workshops covering essential business building blocks
- Personalized 1:1 mentorship and coaching tailored to their specific needs
- A supportive network of like-minded female founders
PROGRAM COMPONENTS
- Training:
- Comprehensive workshops covering key areas such accelerating product market fit, developing sales funnel, marketing strategies and investor readiness.
- Sessions led by industry experts and successful entrepreneurs.
- Mentorship:
- One-on-one guidance from experienced mentors who provide personalized advice and insights.
- Opportunities to connect with successful women in tech and gain valuable perspectives.
- Office Hours:
- Bi-Weekly office hours with program facilitators for tailored support and troubleshooting.
- Access to a network of professionals for additional resources and feedback.
- Showcase:
- Opportunity to showcase your business to the community of experts, mentors, potential investors and potential clients.
