  • Benefits of Accreditation: Learn how the Rainbow Registered mark can enhance your business’s appeal, leading to increased visibility and patronage from 2SLGBTQ+ customers and allies.
  • Best Practices in 2SLGBTQ+ Services: Discover strategies to foster an inclusive environment that goes beyond mere compliance, celebrating the diversity that 2SLGBTQ+ customers bring.
  • Community and Business Benefits: Discuss the positive impacts of inclusivity on both the community and your business, including enhanced customer satisfaction and broader market reach.

What is the Rainbow Registered Program?

Are you interested in sharing your commitment to providing an inclusive, safe space for 2SLGBTQI+ customers and staff? Rainbow Registered may be the perfect fit. Administered by Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce, Rainbow Registered is an accreditation program for businesses that are committed to providing a safe, inclusive space for 2SLGBTQI+ people to visit and work. Businesses will be assessed based on their policies and practices, training, commitment to inclusive leadership, and culture of inclusivity, with those meeting the program standards being accredited and receiving access to a wide range of program benefits. Are you the next Rainbow Registered business?

How will this benefit your business?

  • Membership: Upon completing the accreditation, you’ll be given membership to the CGLCC with access to all the membership benefits – including professional development opportunities, networking events, and other resources.
  • Enhanced Visibility: Stand out in the tourism industry as a leader in inclusivity, attracting both 2SLGBTQI+ travelers and allies who prioritize supporting inclusive businesses. CGLCC has launched a consumer-facing website that has a directory of all accredited businesses so the LGBT+ market can use it to plan trips, or utilize local businesses that show their commitment to this community.
  • Community Support: Join a network of businesses nationwide that share your values of diversity and inclusion, offering mutual support, resources, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Educational Resources: Gain access to training and resources to ensure your staff are equipped to provide a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone.
