The IDEA Step-Up Program is a 6-month program that supports innovative and inclusive companies to grow and overcome barriers. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars that address common challenges faced by CEOs of scaling companies, connect with experienced mentors, speakers, and peers, and present to investors, industry partners and City of Mississauga representatives to get started towards your next round of funding, sale, or partnership.

The program assists people 18 years and over interested in starting, expanding or purchasing a business in Mississauga. The program provides free training and business skills development, free mentorship and guidance and an opportunity to apply for a program grant of up to $5,000 after the completion of mandatory training and mentorship. In order to be eligible, you must attend one of the information sessions.
